Indications for use:
• Used to prevent blood clots (blood clots) in a vein (VTE) in patients who have had lower leg surgery.
Dosage and method of administration:
• The usual recommended dose for preventing blood clots in major orthopedic surgery is 10mg/day.
• Prevention of blood clots blocking black blood vessels: the duration of drug use after major hip replacement surgery, patients should receive drugs for 5 weeks.
• After knee surgery, patients should receive medication for 2 weeks.
• Prevention of black blood clots: How to administer and how often to use Rivaroxaban is to take 1 tablet of 10mg/day.
• Rivaroxaban 10mg may be taken with or without food.
• The dose to start using for the first time should be taken within 6-10 hours after the operation to prevent bleeding during surgery.
• If you forget to take the medicine, the patient should take rivaroxaban 10mg immediately and continue to take it the next day once/day.
